Born in Crete, Greece. She studied drawing in London in the Heatherley School of Art and in the Sir John Cass School of Art. In 1974 she moved to Mexico and began sculpting. Lascaris has had many one-person shows and has participated in many group shows among which are: Salón Bancomer, 1997; Museo de Arte Moderno, Mexico City, Galería Daniel Blaize Thorens, Basil, Switzerland; Athens Gallery, Athens, Greece; Casa de Francia, Galería Juan Martin, Mexico City. She was awarded the National Creators System Grant by FONCA in 2000, in the Exposición Internacional de la Feria de la Plata, she was awarded 1st Prize. Her work is part of collections such as: Tane Orfebres, Industrias Resistol, S.A. de C.V., Fondo Cultural Banamex, México City; Museo Basil & Elise Goulandris, Andros, Greece.
